in anticipation of their new release, bibio had a though in their collective pr head. good job. they put together a little preview and let me tell you…i’m excited. “destined to sit in the canon as one of the loveliest records in the [warp] catalogue.” the sampler crosses lo-fi, folk stumming guitars, funky basses, and post dilla beat science. quite a laundry list, definitely a step out of the box for bibio. the album might be loose with this buffet style audio but, i’d buy it. go to warp. sign up for their newsletter to get your download and get the down low. the label has been wrangling all the up and coming talent for a while.
